The Vermont Food + Music FestivalSet against the autumn backdrop of Mt. Ascutney, the Vermont Food + Music Festival celebrates world-class artistry and local agriculture. From intimate acoustic sets to a high-energy main stage, we’ve built a weekend that honors the rhythm of the mountain.

Hosted & Curated by Brownsville Butcher & Pantry This festival is born from our commitment to local food systems and community-centered events. As a rural market and cafe focused on ethical sourcing and regional agriculture, Brownsville Butcher & Pantryis proud to produce and curate chefs, makers, and musicians to ensure a rooted and authentic Vermont experience.

  • Friday, Sept 18 | Culinary Tasting & Musical Sets

  • The Vibe: Intimate and craft-focused. Friday is a dedicated tasting event. We’re transforming the base of the mountain into an open-air kitchen designed for connection and conversation.

    • The Music: A soulful, intimate set from Kat Wright provides the soundtrack to a unique tasting experience.

    • The Food: A focused culinary showcase where local chefs and restaurants serve composed small plates highlighting our regional ingredients.

  • Saturday, Sept 19 | Music Festival & Food Trucks

    The Vibe: High-energy and celebratory. On Saturday, the energy shifts to a full-scale music festival. The day is driven by the main stage and the energy of a mountainside concert.

    • The Music:A full day of live performances featuring a stacked lineup of national touring acts and regional favorites.

    • The Food:A curated field of local food trucks and vendors will be on-site all day, providing a diverse variety of festival eats.

    • Makers Village:Between sets, explore our market of Vermont artisans, featuring high-quality pottery, leatherwork, and fine art.

Ticket Policy & FAQ

Are tickets refundable? All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged unless the event is canceled by the host. Please note that the booking fee is non-refundable, as it covers the cost of processing the transaction and supporting charitable projects.

What if a show is canceled or changed? The Host or Promoter reserves the right to cancel the event or change the lineup, venue, and date without notice. While minor changes do not automatically trigger a refund, refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation or a serious inclement weather event. If a refund is authorized by the Host due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, the base ticket price will be returned to the original payment method.

The Small Print + Big Details

  • Booking Fees: Fees are non-refundable, even in the event of a cancellation or a refund of the ticket price.

  • Kids 12 and under are free to attend the festival.

  • Treat Tickets Like Cash: Lost, stolen, or destroyed tickets will not be replaced or refunded.

  • Right of Refusal: Admission is subject to the venue’s terms. Entry may be refused for misconduct, intoxication, or failure to comply with health and safety protocols.

  • Resale: Tickets may not be resold for a premium. Unauthorized resale is grounds for cancellation without compensation.

  • Re-Entry: Re-entry to the festival grounds is permitted only through our designated secure checkpoint. Please ensure you have your ID and leave your name with a gate agent before exiting the festival grounds.

  • Liability: The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the attraction.
